Empowering Minds, Strengthening Communities: HKPS Media Luncheon
At the Hong Kong Psychological Society (HKPS), we are dedicated to sharing timely, evidence-based psychological knowledge with the public — to foster understanding, wellbeing, and resilience across our community.
To further this mission, HKPS hosted a Media Luncheon on April 15, 2026, bringing together our Council, Professional Divisions, and media partners. Together, we explored how psychologists and media professionals can collaborate to provide accurate mental health information and compassionate support for the people of Hong Kong.
During the luncheon, we shared the meaningful work our members have done over the past two years, including ongoing crisis support initiatives following the Tai Po fire, and outlined our future strategic focuses on youth mental health, community wellbeing, and mental health awareness across different sectors.
We are deeply grateful for the continued partnership of media professionals whose work helps bring psychological insights to everyday life. By joining forces, we can promote psychoeducation, reduce stigma, and build a more caring, resilient Hong Kong together.
Let’s keep inspiring positive change — contact us for future media collaborations!
