Persons who consider themselves qualified to become members must submit an Online Application Form.

The applicants for membership must normally be proposed by 2 current members (Fellow / Associate Fellow / Graduate Member) of the Society who know the applicants personally and are prepared to support their suitability for membership. Each of the 2 Proposers should submit the Nomination Form to HKPS.

If the applicants for membership are unable to find 2 members to propose their application, they should supply reference letters from two individuals with relevant academic or professional background who can indicate their suitability for membership using the Reference for Membership Application form.

All required documents, relevant academic certificate(s) and transcript(s), and a record of payment of the HK$560 application fee must be uploaded to the Online Application Form. An application which is not supported by the required attachments will not be processed. 

For existing Graduate Members of HKPS who would like to apply to become an Associate Fellow, please select the option "Associate Fellow (upgrade from Graduate Member)" on the Online Application Form.

All applicants are required to complete a Declaration and confirm an Undertaking to abide by the Society's Code of Professional Conduct.
