Name(s) of speaker(s) 

  • Dr. Frendi Li previously worked for the Department of Health in both the Hong Kong and UK Governments and is currently a Consultant Clinical Psychologist at the Alliance Holistic Care Center. She is also an Associate Professor at the University of Hong Kong, where she is responsible for training postgraduate clinical psychology students.
  • With over 30 years of experience in psychological assessment and treatment, Dr. Li is skilled at flexibly integrating psychological knowledge, research findings, and psychotherapy techniques within a cognitive-behavioral therapy framework. This allows her to effectively address complex emotional and mental health issues, tailoring her approach to each client's needs. Dr. Li is a frequent guest speaker and has been interviewed by various major newspapers, television, and radio stations on mental health issues.
  • Using the lens and techniques of cognitive-behavioral therapy, Dr. Li will explore with participants how to enhance their understanding of psychosis, improve communication with patients, and establish mutual trust. She will also discuss how to collaboratively address daily matters, face challenges, and manage treatment to handle case referrals more effectively.
